Christmas with Red Rooster Winery!
Friends, today is the final day of Velvet & Vino’s 7 Days of Christmas! Saving one of the best gift ideas for last, today I’m featuring one of my favorite wines from Red Rooster Winery, including the best wine club membership! Canadian grown and produced, Red Rooster Winery has long been one of our favorites.
For nine years now, my hubby and I do a road trip every summer to Okanagan. We always look forward to spending time in the Naramata Bench, and it’s so nice returning to our favorite wineries to taste their new collections. My hubby and I discovered Red Rooster Winery years ago and every season we always return for a wine tasting and to replenish our favorite wines.
The Red Rooster Winery itself is one of my favorites to visit with their incredible view among the rolling hills of Naramata Bench, and their lively tasting room. We particularly fell in love with their red wines. I love their Meritage and tend to buy these wines by the case! The Golden Egg is their signature, a Rhone-style red, it’s a blend of Mourvedre, Grenache and Syrah. For my friends who often enjoy wine with me, you know how much I love medium to dark bodied wines, and The Golden Egg is the perfect medium-body balance. The Golden Egg is only available at the winery, so I always make sure to bring a couple bottles home with me.
With the snowy weather having arrived in Calgary, I look forward to the cozy evenings in front of the fireplace with my hubby, sipping Red Rooster wines. The neat thing is Red Rooster Winery offers a wine club membership, which makes for an amazing gift! We all love a personalized touch, and as a member of the wine club Red Rooster sends two bottles of wine every month delivered straight to your door. Each of these bottles are specifically selected by Winemaker Karen Gillis and include tasting notes from Karen herself.
I love the idea of gifting a Red Rooster Wine Club membership to the wine lovers in our life!
How cute are these labels?! I’m loving the new labels on the Red Rooster Cabernet Merlot and Riesling!
Red Rooster Wines are available here.
A very special thanks to our friends at Red Rooster Winery for partnering with us for this post!
