It’s here, my New York Fashion Week Fall 2016 Day 4 featuring J. Crew! This will be my last piece on NYFW, yet stay tuned for the very exciting finale coming!
In my previous New York Fashion Week seasons I’ve expressed my opinion that J. Crew is by far one of the top designer brands for creating unique and stylish outfit parings with their collections. Not only are their collections on point every season, I particularly love J. Crew’s ability to pair outfits together in the most unique ways. I first fell in love with J. Crew about four years ago when I discovered their strength in playing with mixed prints and colors. It was all about plaid paired with stripes or polka dots with other patterns. This intrigued me because it felt so freeing to take my clothing and do the unexpected, resulting in a look that was me and me only. J. Crew’s magic of mixing and matching quickly became an art that I loved to experiment within my own closet.
Now four years later I continue to be in awe of J. Crew and their upcoming Fall Winter collection presented at New York Fashion Week. For the Fall collection we can expect a beautiful play on colors. A color I’ve seen repeatedly by various designers for Fall/Winter 2016 is red, and I love how J. Crew integrated this color palette into the collection through beautiful jackets, trousers and also the strappy ballet flats. Another color that I’m so excited for is the baby blue palette. And how fun to wear this color in trousers and cable knit sweaters! So many exciting pieces that we can look forward to!
I’ll have it all please!
Certainly steal from the boyz! I really like the effortless men’s style that J. Crew showed us.
Really love the different color palettes mixed here, and I also appreciate the middle outfit! The layering of a trench over a long cardigan is perfect! J. Crew now has sunglasses available and I love how solid and structured these are.
I literally wanted to take these outfits home with me! I have never felt so strongly about a piece, this pink fur coat is a MUST!
Frayed denim and cute trousers! Love these two looks.
Friends, thank you so much for reading!
