New York Fashion Week Fall 2016 Day 3 highlights brought to you!
Thank you so much for your comments on my last post featuring NYFW Day 1 highlights. Given that our plans to attend New York Fashion Week this season were finalized really last minute, I had actually ended up declining a bunch of shows leading up, given we weren’t one hundred percent sure we’d be there. Having said that, my hubby and I only attended shows that we gave priority to and we particularly reserved Day 2 for meetings. Having said that, I’m jumping from Day 1 to Day 3 for my NYFW highlights.
On Day 3 we attended a couple shows of which I’ll post more on that later. In the meantime, I thought I’d share some of my favorite looks spotted at the Banana Republic presentation. The collection for fall was simple and elegant, with wearable looks that we all can effortlessly achieve. I’m loving Banana Republic’s take on the cropped trousers, perfect for a classy and edgy fall look. I really appreciate how they loosely styled scarves with certain outfits, creating a very easy vibe that’s not too overly fussed over. I also loved the off-the-shoulder coat integrated into some of the oufits, and a great way to accessorize the outfit with a fun overcoat. I don’t think I can ever give up this chic French-girl inspired style trend. Overall Banana Republic’s collection was very relatable with the super cool-girl feel.
For the presentation I wore a Banana Republic pinstripe blazer mixed with floral trousers and a flowy blouse. I wanted to mix in elements of spring from their current collection, and layered with the blazer for added warmth to fight off the frigid New York temperatures.
I want that camel turtleneck. So loved the white trench at the left corner, the brown leather detailing was striking!
Those heels! Love the detailing and the color is everything!
