Hi friends! I’m so excited to be saying hello to you from Seattle. It feels like it has been a huge journey to get to this point, and to be honest I don’t even feel settled enough to say that I live here yet. Our apartment is still filled full of boxes and there’s still many things undone. None the less, I’m here in Seattle doing well and I’m so excited for what’s to come when the dust settles.
My hubby and I have been incredibly busy settling in. It’s an endless task of things to do and get done when moving from one country to another. Who knew how complicated it would be to setup a new cell phone plan in a new country?! That’s one thing out of many. With that said, I’m so grateful for this incredible experience and someday I hope to be able to articulate these experiences into words to share with you all. I feel like this experience has shaped me in so many neat ways.
In the meantime, I thought I’d share a look that we photographed a month ago in Calgary. It was a beautiful day outside, with tiny snow flakes falling. It felt like Christmas as the snowflakes were like little crystals falling from the sky. Warm enough that day for wearing ripped skinny jeans and a leather bomber jacket, I went street shopping and decided to stop for a few photos. I was also wearing one of my favorite black brimmed hats. I can’t tell you how much I love this hat. It’s Canadian-made, and to top it off it’s water repellent. How suitable for my new West Coast life!
Wishing you a very happy Friday friends. Thank you so much for reading!
