When Levi’s® Canada opens a new store with a Tailor Shop in my hometown, I’m the first one to hop on a plane to Calgary for the store’s opening day! You guys, I’m such a Levi’s® fan girl and have been for as long as I can remember. Their denim is one of a kind. I love all their varieties in styles, fit, denim washes and iconic denim pieces. Not only that, Levi’s® jeans always last forever with their premium fabrics. Whenever I find that perfect pair of jeans that looks good on, I’m notorious for wearing these non-stop.
Last month Levi’s® opened a new store in Market Mall in Calgary, offering a broad assortment of the Levi’s® Red Tab Collection. The new store is next level! The fourth Levi’s® store in Canada to open with a Tailor Shop, with a team of specialized craftsman who will help personalize your favorite denim pieces to suit your unique style. This new concept makes shopping for denim so much more exciting. The Tailor Shop can do anything for you from custom embroidery, tailoring, hemming, distressing, patches, pins, you name it.
For my in-store visit at opening, I picked out a cute Levi’s® sweatshirt and paired it with 501 Slim fit jeans in vintage wash. To celebrate my Canadian roots, I decided to layer in the Canadian tuxedo with denim on denim. To personalize my denim, I worked with the Tailor Shop to add a few embellishments to my denim jacket. I was debating between going big or keeping the personalized touches smaller. I went with a few smaller designs and I’m so excited to share these with you!
I had the Tailor Shop embroider this little blue flower on my sleeve. It turned out so cute!
I went crazy with adding a variety of pins to my jacket. When it comes to pins, you can never go wrong. You can add and remove them as you feel like, which is the fun part.
With a love for dogs and my Maggie, I chose this Boston Terrier patch. I had it embroidered on the inside as a fun little insider reminder of my sweet girl.
