I am thrilled to share my second DIY Wine Cork Recycling Project with you! This one was especially fun and I am sure you are wondering how could my hubby and I ever drink this much wine?! The truth of the matter is, I had several of my dear friends in on my wine cork collections. My friends would collect their recycled wine corks for me, and they tell me that my reaction when I would receive a cork from them was as though I was just gifted with new clothes, based on my level of excitement!
This second Do it Yourself project is to create a unique wine tray that can be placed on a coffee table, on the couch beside you, on your table or even on your counter-top to display wine glasses, your bottle of wine and any wine accessories. To make this, you simply take a Shadow Box Frame and fill it with the recycled wine corks. I used approximately 50 wine corks for my tray. Then insert the glass cover into place and there you have your lovely wine tray. You can find Shadow Box Frames in a variety of stores, however I purchased mine at IKEA.
