Transitioning into Spring.
Hi Friends, hope you had a fabulous weekend! Ours was filled with Chinese New Year’s celebrations with my hubby and family, and also two lovely evenings spent with friends and lots of laughter. I also have a surprise coming for you in my next post…. I had my hair cut over the weekend and love it! Unfortunately we shot these photos the day before my hair appointment, so stay tuned for my new look!
The weather in Calgary has been extraordinary warm, making it so enjoyable to go out and put on a pair of heels. I seriously think this is the first winter ever that I’ve been able to put away my snow boots and bring out a pair of heels with cropped trousers. Having said that, I’ve already been looking for ways to transition into the the Spring outfit pieces. These trousers are the perfect means of doing this with its blush pink tones and unique crop fit. I loved getting creative with this look by unexpectedly pairing a red plaid blazer combined with the pink tones. I thought about wearing black heels to make the blazer pop, yet I was really digging the feminine play on the pink palette, opting for white heels instead.
